Fore A Laugh - Are any of your playing partners this tight? πŸ˜‚

We all know how frustrating losing golf balls can be. But this is a new low...

Reddit user 4xdaily caught someone stuffing driving range balls into his golf bag todayπŸ‘‡

Talking Point - Could AI fix your golf swing? πŸ‘€

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last 6 months, you'll know Artificial Intelligence is taking over the world. It's writing essays for school kids & content for websites. But, could it fix your golf swing?

We put it to the test, well not a real test, but we asked ChatGPT how to fix a slice. I simply said "tell me quickly, how I can fix my slice?"Here's the response:

ChatGPT's response for how to fix a slice.

ChatGPT's response for how to fix a slice.

It generated this in less than 30 seconds, pretty impressive right?

However, I don't think too many  PGA Pro's will be worrying just yet. Until there's AI tech that can analyse an individuals swing, the feedback is no more useful than what's currently in a golf magazine

Equipment Round Up - Wilson Dynapower Iron Review πŸŒοΈβ€β™‚οΈ

The Wilson Dyna-Powered muscle back iron was launched way back in 1956 and over 66 years later, they've released a new model  πŸ‘‡

Wilson Dynapower Irons

Wilson Dynapower Irons

Who is it for? The Wilson Dynapower iron is aimed at golfers with a handicap of 10 or higher who are looking for an iron that can help them hit longer, straighter shots.

What about the tech? The Wilson Dynapower irons feature Artificial Intelligence (told you it's everywhere πŸ˜‚) technology that optimizes the face architecture and reconfigures the Power Holes 3.0 on the sole. This technology is designed to make the center and toe sections of the club faster, as these are the areas where 85% of 10+ handicap players strike their shots.

How do they look? At address the Dynapower irons look like typical game improvement irons with a larger footprint. However, the topline has actually been made thinner which will appeal to a lot of golfers.

What is performance like? When we tested these irons, they felt fast off the face. They're also very strongly lofted (7 iron - 27 degrees), so if you're looking to add distance, they could be a good club for you.

In summary, these are quite an impressive new model from Wilson. I like how they've gone back to a model from their history too. If you're looking for some new irons and need to try and increase you're distance this year, I would definitely give these a test πŸ‘.

On Tour - Kitayama Wins The Arnold Palmer Invitational πŸŒοΈβ€β™€οΈ

PGA Tour

It was a quite weekend last week, with only the PGA Tour hosting a tournament out of the main 3 tours.

That said, the PGA Tour was hosting the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. Some big names were towards the top of the leaderboard on Sunday including Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Scottie Scheffler, however it was Kurt Kitayama who won by 1 shot. He finished up -9 to win his first ever PGA Tour event.

Next week see's the Players Championship 😍

17th Hole TPC Sawgrass

It couldn't be any other hole this week πŸ˜‚

The infamous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass, also known as "Golf's Bermuda Triangle." It's the one hole where even the pros need a little extra help from above... or maybe just a few shots of tequila. With its tiny island green and countless balls lost to the watery depths, this hole is a real test of skill and nerves. It always makes for great viewing on Sunday! πŸ‘€
