Padraig Harrington finished second after a play-off at the Senior Open last weekend. He’s still playing to a seriously good level!

Equipment Round Up - Callaway Apex Utility Wood 🤔
What is it? It’s kind of inbetween a fairway wood and a hybrid, sharing some of the best qualities each club has to offer. Callaway claim this club is very versatile and easy to play from a range of lies.
Who is it for? Callaway say the Apex Utility Wood is intended for tour players and elite amateurs. So I’d advise high handicappers look at alternatives.
Looks? Personally, I love the black and red head on this utility wood. The weight in the centre of the head also features red dots which adds to the look.
What about the tech? Callaway has put a lot of it’s signature technology into this club. It uses Jailbreak with Batwing technology, AI-designed 360 Face Cup for more distance with increased spin control and Cutwave Sole design to help move smoothly through the turf.
Performance? Unfortunately we haven’t had the opportunity to test this club yet so it wouldn’t be fair to pass comment on it’s performance.

On Tour - First Win For Lee Hodges 👏
PGA Tour - 3M Open
The PGA Tour saw the 3M Open last weekend. With a lot of the bigger names taking a week off after The Open, Lee Hodges seized the opportunity to get his first win.
Impressively he finished 7 shots ahead of the runner up and then finished off with a milkshake on the 18th green 👏
Hole Of The Week - 17th Hole, Myrtle Beach, United States 🇺🇸
This hole is a beauty, it plays from elevated tees to an island green.
Whilst there is quite a bit of space around this island green, there is also a lot of water to clear first. So make sure you don’t duff one 👀.
The wind can also make club selection difficult on this 188 yard Par 3, just make sure you commit to whatever you decide to hit!
