Fore A Laugh - All Time Great Golf Tweet 📲

This resurfaced on Twitter this week. Has to be one of the all time great golf tweets 👇

Whats In The Bag - Wyndham Clark 🇺🇸🏆

Wyndham Clark won his first major last weekend. Whatever is in his bag is clearly working for him.

We’ve taken a look whats in there 👇

Wyndham Clark’s WITB (GolfWRX)

Driver: Titleist TSi3 (9 degrees)

3-wood: TaylorMade Stealth 2 (15 degrees)

Irons: Titleist T200 (3), Titleist 620 CB (4-9)

Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design SM9 (46 degrees, 52 degrees, 56 degrees), Vokey Design WedgeWorks (60 degrees)

Putter: Odyssey Jailbird Versa

Ball: Titleist Pro V1x

Interesting to see both players in the final pairing on Sunday gaming the Odyssey Jailbird Versasame putter.

Equipment Round Up - New PXG 0311 Gen 6 Drivers 💥

PXG have released quite a few driver models over the past few years and the prices have fluctuated a lot. This summer they’ve released the 0311 Gen 6 drivers, we’ve taken a look at them for you below 👇

Who are they for? Any golfer, there’s a model for better players and also a more forgiving model.

PXG 0311 Gen 6 Drivers

How Do They Look? Very nice. Both the crown and sole are black with touches of white and chrome, leaving a very classy, clean look.

What about the sound and feel? Both the sound and feel of the 0311 XF Gen 6 driver could be described as solid. It felt like the ball would travel a solid distance no matter where on the face it was hit.

Performance? Impressive, I saw a 4 yard average distance gain when compared to the Gen 5 version. A lot of other reviewers report similar gains too which is encouraging.

In conclusion, the PXG 0311 Gen 6 would be well worth testing for anyone looking at upgrading their driver this year. At £/$499 it is at a similar price point to it’s main competitors. However, you can get the equally impressive Gen 5 for just £/$299 at the moment! So if you’re on a budget the Gen 5 could be a better option.

Tee Time Equipment Rating: 8/10 ✅

On Tour - Wyndham Wins His First Major 🏆

US Open

The US Open at Los Angeles Country Club was fairly controversial last weekend. Firstly a lot of players weren’t a fan of the blind tee shots and approach shots, whilst there were also a lot of unhappy people with the lack of fans and atmosphere too.

The tournament saw many fan favourites near the top of the leaderboard including Rickie Fowler and Rory McIlroy.

It was Wyndham Clark who ended up winning by one shot from Rory McIlroy. It continues Clarks sharp rise this year, after he won his first event at the Wells Fargo Championship.

Hole Of The Week - 17th Hole, Burnham & Berrow Golf Links, United Kingdom 🇬🇧

This 201 yard Par 3 is a tough one as you look to end your round here. You need to make sure you take enough club as anything that comes up short will run back down towards you, leaving a horrible up and down.

As well as a horrible up and down, the clubhouse will also be watching you 👀
