Fore A Laugh - How would your Mrs react? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Does your other half ever complain about how much you spend on golf? Yeah, mine too. Reddit user catfashion posted this ๐Ÿ‘‡

He's a braver man than me, I think I'd find my clubs and clothes in black bags on the driveway ๐Ÿ˜‚

Talking Point - Should LIV Golfers Be Allowed To Play In Majors? ๐Ÿ‘€

Everyone's favourite golf tour returns today - LIV Golf. The new tour gets underway in Mayakoba, Mexico. However, the major talking point over the past week or so has been, should LIV golfers be allowed to play in the majors?

LIV Golfers

Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed and a host of others tee it up this week.

The news broke this week that they will in fact be able to play in all 4 majors. This came after the PGA of America announced its eligibility requirements for the 2023 PGA Championship.

Many PGA tour fans and stakeholders argue that the "money grabbing" LIV golfers shouldn't get the opportunity to compete for the majors. Personally, I disagree with this. The majors should have all of the best players in the world compete in them, regardless where they are playing their regular golf.

Let's say for example, Rory McIlroy had an unbelievable year, winning 3 of the 4 majors. Surely this would be tainted, if half of the world's best players didn't compete with him in any of those tournaments?

Hit reply and let me know if you think they should be able to compete or not?

Equipment Round Up - Callaway Paradym Driver ๐Ÿ’Ž

The driver market is hotter than ever at the moment, with every brand ramming it down your throat that theirs is the longest and most forgiving. For us though, one club really stands out this year - the Callaway Paradym!

Callaway Paradym Driver

Callaway Paradym Driver

Who is it for? All golfers, Callaway have 3 released 3 models of the Paradym driver: the Paradym (standard model), Paradym X (for golfers seeking extreme forgiveness) and Paradym Triple Diamond (low spinning model for better players).

What do Callaway say about them? They claim the design "radically breaks the tradeoff between incredible distance and exceptional forgiveness". Sounds like every golfers dream right? ๐Ÿค”

How do they look? Amazing. The smoky blue effect across the head really stands out, giving it a classy but modern design.

What about the tech? The key technology behind the Callaway Paradym drivers is the 360หšcarbon chassis. This is the first time engineers have done away with Titanium in the body, this allows them to save weight which can be used elsewhere to increase forgiveness. Added to this, Paradym uses AI designed Jailbreak technology to enhance ball speeds and stability.

In summary, this look's like a really impressive driver from Callaway and this has been backed up by it's performance. Most testers across YouTube and the internet report tighter dispersions and increased distance. If you're looking for a driver I'd definitely consider putting this in your bag!

On Tour - Rahm Wins Again ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

PGA Tour

Jon Rahm is dominating professional golf at the moment. After winning last weekend at the Genesis Invitational, he now has 5 wins in his last 9 tournaments. He ended last week on -17, 2 shots ahead of Max Homa and 3 ahead of Patrick Cantlay.

It was also pleasing to see Tiger Woods come through all 4 rounds injury free. He finished on a respectable -1, meaning 1 lucky Tee Time reader won some Titleist Pro V1s!

DP World TourThe DP World Tour stayed in Asia last week with the Thailand Classic at Amata Spring Country Club. Thorbjรธrn Olesen ended up a 4 shot winner with a finishing score of -24.

This weekend the DP World Tour see's the Indian Open take place on SkySports ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ.

Hole Of The Week - 3rd Hole, Old Head Golf Links, Ireland โ›ณ๏ธ

3rd Hole Old Head Golf Links

The beautiful 3rd hole at Old Head Golf Links

Another Par 3 features for us this week but this hole is one of the best I've come across. There's no room for error on the left, otherwise you're going to end up with the fishing boats. โ›ด๏ธ

On a clear day this has to be one of the most stunning holes in golf, catching it on a clear day might be the issue though. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ
