Sadly, I've never had a Hole In One. If I did, I think I would talk about it every single day, to every single person I spoke to.

I'm not sure I would get a Tattoo of it though. That's exactly what a Reddit user did!

Looking at the tattoo, I'm not sure if it was a mini golf hole or real golf hole?

Talking Point - LIV Golfers Struggle In Abu Dhabi 👀

Last week we wrote about the new LIV Golf TV deal, this was a huge win for them. However, the rebel tour's positive week didn't continue...Several LIV golfers teed it up in the Abu Dhabi championship. It's fair to say their performance was generally poor, with only Richard Bland managing a Top 10 finish. Admittedly, rustiness could be a factor here, with many of these players having not played for quite a while. Whilst the average age of these players also needs to be considered, many of them are in the twilight of their careers, so performance could be declining.On the face of it though, it hardly looks like the performance of players from Golf's premium tour, does it?

Equipment Round Up - Scotty Cameron 2023 Super Select Putters 😍

There are few things in golf as beautiful as Scotty Cameron putters. From what we've seen of the new Super Select putters, they live up to that too.

In total, there will be 10 new Super Select putter models being released, however, this will be done across 2 waves:

• On March 17th, six new Scotty Cameron Super Select models will hit golf stores (Newport, Newport Plus, Newport 2, Newport 2 Plus, Newport 2.5 Plus and Squareback 2)

• On May 19th, four new Scotty Cameron Super Select models will be hitting stores (Super Select Fastback 1.5, Del Mar and the new GOLO 6 and GOLO 6.5)

There are four big changes when compared with the 2020 release:

1. “Plus” models: The blade-style Newport Plus, Newport 2 Plus and Newport 2.5 Plus models are made with wider dimensions to help promote mallet-like forgiveness.

2. Dual-milling process: To enhance feel, sound and performance, Scotty Cameron is now using a dual-milled process.

3. “I-Beam” hosels: 8 of the 10 new models feature a new hosel design that helps remove weight from the neck of the putter, this contributes to increased forgiveness (Del Mar and GOLO 6 are the ones without this new hosel).

4. Weight configuration: The multi-material putters have weights in the sole made from either stainless steel or Tungsten, allowing for better weight distribution.

I might need to cancel my bank card to stop me ordering one of these 🫣

On Tour - Rahm & Perez Win, Plus There's An Albatross 😯

PGA Tour

Jon Rahm won again on the PGA Tour last weekend, his -27 American Express win came on his next start after winning the Tournament Of Champions earlier in January.It's worth noting his quite truly incredible form: he has 4 wins in his last 6 starts and is -54 in his 8 rounds of golf in 2023.His year on the golf course is going a bit differently to mine 🤔.

Xander Schauffele also had an albatross at The American Express, see it here. It really was a thing of beauty!!

DP World TourThe DP World Tour saw frenchman Victor Perez win in Abu Dhabi last weekend. He finished -18, 1 ahead of Min Woo Lee & Sebastian Söderberg in second.It was also great to see Padraig Harrington play well, he finished 4th at -16 and carded a third round 64.

Hole Of The Week - 3rd Hole, North Berwick Golf Club ⛳️

The Par 4 at North Berwick Golf Club has a wall running across the middle of the fairway. Your second shot must go over the wall whilst also avoiding the green side bunker on the right.

The beach runs up the right hand side of this hole and players regularly end up fighting their umbrella in the wind.

Think of it as a giant mini golf hole 👍
