Fore A Laugh - Brooks looking a little worse for wear 🤪

Last weekend saw a HUGE win for LIV bad boy Brooks Koepka. Anyone who has watched Full Swing will know that he’s struggled in recent years, so this win was very satisfying for him.

It’s fair to say he celebrated the win very hard. He was seen at the hockey on Monday looking like he hadn’t slept yet 👇

It was a great victory, however, I did get serial killer vibes from the clapping 👏

Talking Point - Hero Michael Block 👏

Brooks Koepka may have won the PGA Championship, but we all know the real winner… Michael Block.

The PGA club professional managed to finish in a tie for 15th at the major, meaning he qualifies for the event again next year and takes home a huge $288,000. A bit of a pay increase from the usual $150 he charges for an hours lesson 💸.

He shot 3 steady rounds of 70, 70, 70, and then a cheeky 71 on Sunday, leaving even the seasoned major winners scratching their heads in disbelief. It's worth noting that his "worst" round came on a day when the course decided to take a nap, but that just makes his first 3 rounds even more impressive!

And let's not forget his epic hole-in-one, a rare feat that hadn't been seen from a PGA club professional since '96. It went straight in on the full and was so perfect that the cup needed some serious TLC before play could continue!

As if all of this wasn’t enough, he’s received an invitation to play in the Charles Swab Invitational this coming weekend!

Equipment Round Up - Cleveland Frontline Elite Putter Review 👀

Introducing the Cleveland Frontline Elite putter line. With a radical design philosophy, Cleveland aims to win golfers over with their unique approach.

3 of the Cleveland Elite Putters

How Do They Look? These putters rock a premium matte black finish. There are various different styles from classic blades, to the fang-style Elevado and bigger Spider like mallets. All of which look great if you ask me (I am a huge fan of black putters though!).

What about the sound and feel? Cleveland's Tungsten SOFT Face delivers sharp audio feedback. Perfect strikes produce a satisfying "tock," while slightly off-center hits give you a little "click." It's a symphony of sound telling you how great (or not-so-great) your putt was.

The Elevevado and RHO models from above.

Performance? Cleveland's forward CG design philosophy aims to make your putts straighter than a PGA rules official. With removable weights and a tungsten face insert, they're determined to keep you on the right path. And from what I’ve seen it seems to work, I saw great results from the 1.0 model (anser style).

What about fitting options? Cleveland takes fittings seriously from grip to putter head. They've got you covered with "Slight Arc" and "Straight" models, each paired with its own grip. This is interesting as I’ve never seen stroke type paired with a certain grip!

In conclusion, Cleveland's Frontline Elite putters were quite impressive. Forward CG, removable weights, and complete fitting options make these putters a real value package. Will they knock the established names off their throne? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure—Cleveland is ready to take a swing at it.

Tee Time Equipment Rating: 8/10 ✅

On Tour - Koepka Wins The PGA Championship 👏

PGA Championship

All eyes were on Oak Hill Country Club last weekend for the PGA Championship. LIV Golfer Brooks Koepka won by 2 shots to Scottie Scheffler, he finished on -9 to win his fifth major!

Special shoutout to Victor Hovland who finished on -6, playing in the final pairing. It feels like it’s a matter of time before he wins his first major! 🇳🇴

Hole Of The Week - The Pit, 13th Hole, North Berwick, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The 13th hole at North Berwick, also known as The Pit, is a very unique hole to say the least.

With a wall running across the front of the green, the typical links bump and run is firmly off the table. This hole is all about a good drive, which will leave you with a short iron over the wall to set up a birdie chance.

Let’s hope you’re not thinning those short irons if you play it 😬.
