Equipment Round Up - Well Putt Putting Mats 🎯
We’ve taken a look at something slightly different today. Now we’re in full swing in the golf season, practice is king. One great way of practicing from home is on a putting mat.
Who are they for? Any golfer with room to roll out 3m at home. They can help golfers of all levels improve their putting stroke.

How Do They Look? Premium and complex. These putting mats aren’t cheap costing upwards of $/£100 and you can tell they are premium. The matt looks quite complex too with different lines for different drills and games.
What’s Included?
This is what I love about these putting matts, you don’t just get a basic matt. You get a “Training Book” included but more importantly there is also a mobile app. On this mobile app, you can play various games and record all of your training allowing you to track any progression.
Any negatives? For me there are 2 negatives with this mat. One is that no bag/cover is provided for storage, you can keep your mat in the box but it doesn’t feel quite as premium and is a bit bulky. Two is that you can’t practice longer putts, realistically though, this isn’t possible with any putting mat.
In conclusion, this is a great bit of kit for anyone who is looking to improve on the greens. The product is of excellent quality and when coupled with the mobile app, you can track your progres.
Tee Time Equipment Rating: 9/10 ✅
On Tour - McIlroy Wins Before The Open 🏴
PGA Tour/DP World Tour - Scottish Open
We saw the stars of golf descend on Scotland last weekend for the Scottish Open and it didn’t disappoint. McIlroy ran out a 1 shot winner from Scot Robert MacIntyre.
In a gripping end, both MacIntyre and McIlroy hit unbelievable shots into 18 to end with birdies.
And Scheffler finished 3rd - shock.
Hole Of The Week - 17th Hole, Royal Liverpool Golf Club, England 🏴
This hole is going to get a lot of attention this weekend. The new Par 3 for the 151st Open looks a terrifying prospect, even for the best in the world!

The hole named “Little Eye“ is a short par 3 with an elevated green that is guarded by very deep bunkers.
Matt Fitzpatrick’s caddie Billy Foster isn’t a fan of the hole, describing it as a “monstrosity”.
Makes for some good viewing 📺🍿.
