Fore A Laugh - Joel Dahmen Gets The Beers In πΊ
The cost of beer at live sports is crazy now. So, would you take a golf ball to the calf for 5 free beers?
@YourPalCal_ on Twitter did just that. Joel Dahmen gave him $100 after hitting him on the calf with a tee shot π

Equipment Round Up - Callaway Paradym X Irons π
Callaway's Paradym range has been extremely popular this year, especially the Driver and Woods. What about the irons though, we've taken a look belowπ

Who is it for? Higher handicappers or those looking for more distance with their irons.
What tech do they use? AI is back again, Callaway's AI computer technology has optimised a high-strength forged 455 face. The hollow body then has a speed frame construction which adds stiffness to the body and supports the face. 79g of internal/external tungsten weights are then used to enhance launch conditions and ball speeds on mishits.
How do they look? Personally I'm not a huge fan of blue and yellow on the rear of the club head, I quite like my irons to be discrete. They do have a larger blade length than other clubs which can inspire confidence.

What is performance like? Really impressive, I saw increased distances of 4-5 yards compared to my Mizunos. They were also really forgiving so would suit the higher handicappers out there.
Verdict - I was really impressed with these irons and would recommend anyone who is looking for extra distance to test them out. They could definitely help those with inconsistent ball striking. They have to be towards the top of the game improvement category.

On Tour - Jason Day Ends His 5 Year Wait For A Win π
PGA Tour
Jason Day got his first PGA tour win in 5 years last weekend at the AT&T Byron Nelson. The tournament, held at TPC Craig Ranch, saw Jason Day run out a one shot winner finishing -23.Great to see the Aussie back to winning ways!
LIV Golf Tour
LIV Golf held last weekend's tournament in Tulsa where Dustin Johnson beat Cameron Smith and Branden Grace in a play-off. It'll be interesting to see if DJ and Smith can continue this strong form in the PGA Championship.
DP World Tour
The DP World Tour headed to Belgium last week for the Soudal Open. Simon ForsstrΓΆm finished won posting -17, just one shot ahead of fellow Swede Jens Dantorp.
Hole Of The Week - 13th Hole, East Course, Oakhill Country Club, USA πΊπΈ

This week's hole of the week is one we'll be seeing a lot this weekend. It's the monster 625 Yard Par 5 that they'll be playing in the PGA Championship.
It's very very tough to reach this green in two, the length alone is too much for most players. However, even for the long hitters there's also a creek that runs across the fairway at around 310 yards, meaning they need to hit a peach to comfortably clear it.
Can't wait to see how they play it this weekend π
